DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: (Saturday, Jul 21): Rinas Airport - Tirana

The group arrives at the airport and is welcomed by our tour leader. If time allows we can include the following activity: Cable Car to Dajti Mountain, which is one of the top Tirana’s attraction and one of the longest cableway in the Balkans. Next to have a guided walk of Tirana where we visit Tirana New Bazaar and Scanderbeg Square recently renovated giving a modern look to the capital city.

Overnight: Tirana – Hotel Kruja or similarll by the sea side either in Rafina or the nearby town ofArtemida, enjoying the mesmerizing view of the passing boats or the last surfers of the day.

Day 2 (Sunday, Jul 22): Tirana - Karavasta Lagoon - Llogara National Park (B)

Morning: Boot camp session

After having morning breakfast, today we drive to Divjaka region to visit the largest lagoon in Albania and one of the largest in the Mediterranean Sea, spanning in an area of 42 km2 (16 sq mi). There it is possible to see Dalmatian pelican; 6.4% of the Europe’s population of the Dalmatian pelican is found in Karavasta Lagoon.

In the afternoon we drive for about 2 hours to reach Llogara National Park where we will be accommodated for tonight. Next we can take a walk to the Ceasar Pass, which is about 1 hour walk from Llogara Hotel.

The accommodation will be at the Llogara National Park is known for its vibrant flora and fauna with over 100 different types of animals and birds including: deer, wild cats, foxes, etc, where you can actually meet with the deer in person. The mixture of refreshing high altitude mountain air and proximity of the sea makes it very attractive destination for tourists. The area is also important for the growth of eco-tourism, picnic, hiking and air sports.

Day 3 (Monday, July 23): Llogara - Dhermi (Walking) – B

Morning: Boot camp session

Today’s activity will be walking Llogara National Park descending down to the coast. We start from the altitude of 1000m all the way down to the coast.

Overnight: Dhermi – Hotel Sofo or similar

Day 4 (Tuesday, July 24): Dhermi - Gjipe Beach - Jala Beach - Himara village (Stand Up Paddle) - B

Morning: Boot camp session

Today we will travel to Jali beach driving along the Albanian coastal towns where we will have the opportunity to stop and enjoy the amazing vistas of the Ionian Coastline. When we reach Jalë beach we will paddle toward Gjipe beach which is a secluded beach. Getting there is possible either walking or using the stand up paddles. In Gjipe Beach we can spend the day relaxing and do a 1-hour walk inside the canyon. In the afternoon, we continue driving to Himara Village where we will be accommodated.

Day 5 (Wednesday, July 25): Himara village - Qeparo (Kayaking) - B

Morning: Boot camp session

After checkout we will be leaving toward Peninsula of Porto Palermo.

This day in kayak will last about 5 hours and in this segment will be able to visit the largest number of small beaches.

Overnight: Qeparo – Hotel Riviera or similar

Day 6 (Thursday, July 26): Qeparo – Tirana - B

Morning: Boot camp session

After a day workout and breakfast, leave for going to Tirana city.

Free time at your own in the city.

Overnight: Tirana – Hotel Kruja or similar

Day 7 (Friday, July 27): Departure Tirana - B

After breakfast and day workout, as per departure flight timings transfer to the airport.
