DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival Marrakech (D)

You will be met at Marrakech airport by a Rahhalah representative and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the afternoon resting or exploring Marrakech.

Welcome dinner.

Overnight Marrakech Hotel: Riad Africa or similar

Day 02: Horse Riding ( B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech, our driver will pick you up and take to Zaouit Bouhita in Tahnaoute, the starting point of the riding journey towards the High Atlas Mountains, meet the team and start riding through Terre d’Amanar Accro park, cross a large pin, juniper, aok forest to reach Tizi n’Ouraken (1300m) where you will enjoy amazing views over Asni valley, Atlas Panorama, Moulay Brahim village and the whole Haouze Plaine, continue via Lakhnout to get down to Moulay Brahim where you will be pick up and move to Imlil valley for lunch at the roof top of Riad Atlas Toubkal / Riad Atlas Prestige overlooking the valley, Berber villages & Toubkal summit.

Day 03: Hiking ( B, L, D)

You will meet the guide who will show you around the amazing Berber villages. During your time there, you may have some traditional mint tea, or Berber bread and soup. The half day walk is about a 4 or 5 hour walk/mule ride at the end of which, you will be served traditional Berber lunch in a traditional Berber house – or perhaps outside under the walnut trees.

Day 4: Imlil to Asni by Bike ( B, L, D)

Enjoy a scenic, full-day adventure as you peddle through the Atlas Mountains where the picturesque scenery leaves you breathless. Choose from a variety of trails that are suitable for any ability and get a rush of adrenaline as you race down the paths and up to the crest for incredible views.

After they go over your itinerary, a few safety rules, and get you fitted with a quality mountain bike and helmet for safety—begin your ride through the mountains.

Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains and surrounding scenery as you race down a trail picked to fit your ability level. Feel confident following your expert guide and reassured by the ATV support that is always on hand.

At lunch, stop for a picnic in a place with a breathtaking view, drinking enough water to quench your thirst. With a new burst of energy, set off down the trails again. Bring a camera to take some memorable photos of beautiful valleys, dramatic waterfalls, and the panoramic views  from the high crest, before cycling back to your pickup point and returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Camel trek / Marrakech – Half day sightseeing and shopping ( B, L)

Morning relaxing and afternoon transfer by 4×4 vehicles over the Kik Plateau and down into the Agafay Desert, camel trek, then transfers back to Marrakech.

Duration: approx 1 hour camel trek

Afternoon- half day sightseeing and shopping.

Overnight: Riad Africa or Similar

Day 6: Cooking Class Marrakech ( B, L, D)

You’ll learn to identify aromatic Moroccan spices, cook a full Moroccan meal with classic sides, and enjoy a hearty meal on a terrace surrounded by fruit trees. This 5-hour Moroccan cooking class includes pickup and drop-off at your Marrakech hotel, with morning tea, snacks, and drinks provided as you cook.

Day 7: Marrakech – Airport ( B)

According to your flight times you will be transferred to the airport by your guide, who will also assist you with the paper work formalities before you board your flight out. Fly back to your destination with sweet memories of Morocco!
