Itinerary Details

Upon your arrival in Bali, you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative and you will be transferred to Ubud.
Ubud is a small town located in the uplands of Bali with peaceful ambience, scenic views, art galleries, ancient temples shrines, and a strong spiritual feel, enhanced by many yoga studios. The town’s name comes from the word “Ubad” which means “Medicine” because there are many medicinal plants around the place, which have been used in traditional medicine for ages. According to the legend, as far back as the 8th Century, royal families from across the island sent their ill people to Ubud to be healed.

After breakfast, you will head to the Ayung River, where you will enjoy a 2-hour white water rafting adventure with easy Class I and II rapids. Accompanied by professionals, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery while you raft down the river.

Afterwards, you will visit the Kanto Lampo waterfall: a scenic waterfall cascading down a steeped rock. The waterfall is located in Beng village, Gianyar (a 45-mintues drive from Ubud).

After breakfast, you will head to Penelokan, a village in Kintamani and the starting point of your mountain-biking cycling adventure. You will bike through the heartland of Bali, travelling downhill on secret backroads and minor villages with little traffic, experiencing the typical Balinese daily life and enjoying the beautiful Balinese countryside. You will ride through lush forested areas, plantations full of Balinese staples and cash crops (cloves, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, tapioca, taro, local vegetables and exotic tropical fruits). On the way, you will have numerous stops, including a visit to a Balinese home/compound (where you will see firsthand how the Balinese live outside the tourist areas) and a Balinese plantation (where you will learn the medicinal and cultural uses of local plants, the process of making coffee, many of the spices you are using in cooking, and tropical fruits growing in their natural environment). You will also get to sample many exotic tropical fruits, local herbal teas and coffees, including Coffee Luwak: the unusually produced and most expensive coffee in the world.

After breakfast, you will head to a local Elementary school for a unique experience. You will interact with the students, you will have the opportunity to share some of your knowledge, and you will also get valuable insights from the children on the local culture.
Afterwards, you will head to the Tegalalang rice fields for some fun activities such as Bali Swing (cost not included in the price) or coffee and tea tasting (free).

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and head to the local Elementary school for another priceless interaction and teaching activity.

Then, you will head to the Dharma Jati Orphanage house to teach English to the children.

In the afternoon, you will drive to Seminyak to check in at your hotel, located by the beach.

Enjoy a free day by the beach, swimming, snorkeling, exploring the town at your own pace, visiting its main street full of picturesque cafes and boutique stores, or having a traditional Balinese massage.
