Upon your arrival at José María Córdova International Airport in Medellín, you will be warmly welcomed by your local Rahhalah representative. After meeting your guide, you will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel.

Once at the hotel, check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, giving you time to rest after your journey or take a short stroll through the surrounding neighborhood.

After breakfast, you will set out to discover one of Medellín’s most inspiring stories of transformation during a guided visit to Comuna 13. Once considered among the most dangerous areas in the world, this neighborhood has become a powerful symbol of resilience, innovation, and social change. As you explore its streets, outdoor escalators, and colorful murals, your guide will share insights into the city’s past, present, and the remarkable role that community-driven projects have played in reshaping Medellín’s future.

Later, you will journey into the lush mountains surrounding the city for an immersive Express Coffee Tour. Here, you will gain firsthand insight into Colombia’s most iconic export as local coffee farmers introduce you to the journey from seed to cup. Walking through the plantations, learning about cultivation techniques, and tasting freshly brewed coffee offers a deeper appreciation of how rural traditions thrive alongside urban life.

After a day rich in culture and flavor, you will return to your hotel to relax and unwind.

Guatapé & Piedra del Peñol: The Peñol Boulder is one of the most spectacular destinations in the surrounding area of Medellín. The 200-meter-high monolith can be climbed with a staircase of 740 steps. Enjoy breathtaking views over the stunning surroundings full of green mountains and blue lakes. The village of Guatapé is famous for its church and its beautiful, colorful paintings that decorate the houses of the village.

On this day trip we will take you on a scenic drive through the Eastern Highlands of Antioquia. You can climb the Peñol Boulder, enjoy a delicious typical Colombian lunch on the waterfront of the Guatapé reservoir, explore the lake on a boat ride, and take time to stroll and relax.

After breakfast, you will check out and transfer to Medellín airport for your domestic flight to Santa Marta, a city rich in history and coastal charm.

Upon arrival, you will begin a guided city tour exploring Santa Marta’s scenic bay and historic center. Highlights include a visit to the Tayrona Gold Museum, showcasing exquisite pre-Hispanic goldwork, and the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the historic hacienda where Simón Bolívar spent his final days.

Following the city tour, you will continue by road toward the lush surroundings of Tayrona National Park. Upon arrival at your hotel, check in and enjoy the serene natural setting as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

We will enter Tayrona Park through the sector of Cañaveral, from where the hike to the beaches begins, passing first through humid and dry forests. If you are lucky, you will be able to see monkeys, iguanas, iguanas, peccaries and other species. Then we will pass the beaches of San Felipe, Gumarra, Arrecifes, Arenilla, and the natural swimming pool until we reach Cabo San Juan.

Here you will have time to have lunch (not included) and enjoy the sea before returning by the same route.

Overnight in Tayrona.

After breakfast check-out from the hotel & transfer from Tayrona National Park to Cartagena. (approx drive 5 hours)

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Later, we go for Cartagena city tour!

Historical and Gastronomic Walk through the Historic Center of Cartagena:
Explore the colorful streets of Cartagena on a walking tour of the walled city, accompanied by your personal guide, who will tell you about Cartagena's past and present as you visit monuments such as the Clock Tower, the statue of Don Pedro de Heredia, Bolívar Park, and San Pedro Claver Square. You will be able to admire the Romanesque, Moorish, colonial, military, Arab, Spanish, and North American influences that have shaped the city.

During the walk, in addition to learning about Cartagena's history, you will also experience daily life and local culture through the delicious local cuisine, enjoying the delights offered by the best street food stalls. We will taste exotic tropical fruits (lulo, granadilla, níspero, papaya, guanábana), fried arepas, empanadas, carimañolas, corn bollos, coconut water, raspao, cocadas, arequipe, and other local preparations.

We finish by exploring the Getsemaní district, named by Forbes magazine as one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world, where you can immerse yourself in the charm of its streets filled with history and flavor.

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to Cartagena International Airport for your international flight back home!

Alternatively, you may choose to extend your trip for the famous Lost City trekking Expedition! (Domestic flight to Santa Marta not included - subject to check fares at time of booking)

Note: Lost city trek involves sleeping on hammocks and the weather is humid and challenging year-round. A true adventure that requires good physical and mental preparation. Suitable only for people who are used to very basic accommodations.
