Day 01

  • Arrival Reykjavik

    Arrival : There will be one airport transfer will be arranged for group. Timing will be advised in due course. Additional cost will apply for additional airport transfers.

    Meet our Rahhalah representative at Keflavik Airport (KEF). He will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall holding a Rahhalah sign.
    After meet & greet, Private transfer from Keflavík airport to your accommodation in Reykjavík.
    Check-in and relax.

    Rest of day at your own leisure or depending on your flight time you may wish to go for any other optional tour like Horseback riding or whale watching (additional cost applies)

    Evening brief meeting with your guide at the hotel to go over the rest of the program.

Day 02

  • Golden Circle day tour & Northern lights night hunting tour (B)

    After breakfast we checkout from our hotel and proceed for our exciting day to visit the famous known Golden circle with some most fresh organic tomato tasting – end of the day visiting Secret lagoon – a natural hot spring. On our tour we visit following places:

    South - Þingvellir by sunset
    No single place epitomizes the history of Iceland and the Icelandic nation better than Þingvellir by the river Öxará. At Þingvellir - literally "Parliament Plains" - the Alþing general assembly was established around 930 and continued to convene there until 1798.

    Geysir Hotspring
    the Great Geysir, the area surrounding it is geothermically very active with many smaller hot springs. The attraction of the area is now Strokkur (The Churn), another geyser 100 meters south of the Great Geysir, which erupts at regular intervals every 10 minutes or so and its white column of boiling water can reach as high as 30 meters.

    Gullfoss waterfall Gullfoss
    – The Golden Waterfall - is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland, located on the Hvítá - White river - which is fed by Iceland´s second biggest glacier, the Langjökull. The water cascades down two steps, one 11 m high, and the other 22 m, into the rugged canyon below.

    Friðheimar - Greenhouse Visit and Tomato Soup
    At Friðheimar they strive to grow the tastiest tomatoes they can, while respecting nature. Their tomatoes are cultivated all year round using the latest technology, in an environmentally-friendly way: green energy, pure water and organic pest controls combine to produce fresh, healthful tomatoes. Visitors gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture, with a short and informative talk on the subject – and in fact it is quite remarkable that it should be possible to grow vegetables in this cold climate, by creating warm Mediterranean conditions, all year round, through the long dark winter.

    Secret Lagoon
    The Secret Lagoon is a natural hot spring located in the small village of Flúðir, in the Golden Circle area. The Lagoon has been kept natural and the steam rising into the air gives the place a magical feeling. The warm water holds 38-40°C all year. A walking path has been built for guests so they can have a closer look at the boiling, spouting hot springs. (Included - Entrance + Towel rental)

    Later transfer to your countryside hotel. Check-in and relax.

    By night we go for Northern lights hunting tour or if weather allows, you even have chance to see Northern lights from outside of your hotel.

Day 03

  • ATV Quad Bike and Black beach visit (B)

    Bike ATV biking is great way to explore the volcanic black sandy beaches on the south coast. The tour begins at the Arcanum base nearby the Mýrdalsjökull glacier in South Iceland. First you´ll get a safety instructions and plan for the tour. From the base you´ll cross some small rivers and head down to the black lava sand fields which derives from the dormant volcano Katla. Down by the black beach you´ll stop and enjoy the amazing view up to the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and along the coast to the southernmost part of Iceland, the small peninsula Dyrhólaey. After that head along the coast to the famous aircraft wreck, from there continue to the river Jökulsá and up to the foot of the mountain. Upon return you´ll follow the mountain back to the base. On this tour you can get in touch with the raw black lava sand landscape by the south coast. Unforgettable experience of conflicting landscapes where the nature envelops the traveller in its warm embrace. The tour will be a group tour with other group of people.

    Later we visit to the beautiful Reynisfjara Black Beach & Reynisdrangar
    Rock Formations Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, southern Iceland which is framed by a black sand beach, Reynisfjara, that has been ranked as one of the ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches in the world. Legend says that the stacks originated when two trolls dragged a 3- masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock.

Day 04

  • Glacier walk and South Shore day tour (B, D)

    After breakfast, we checkout from hotel and go for a fun day on Glacier hiking experience

    Glacier Discovery -
    This is an informative, safe and easy glacier walk on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue. Your certified glacier guide will lead you through a frozen wonderland of different shades of glacier ice; white ice, blue ice, and crystal clear ice. You will get to see deep crevasses and water cauldrons in a safe manner, along with other interesting features of the glacier. During the hike, you will have plenty of photo opportunities and your expert guide will share his wisdom about the ever-changing landscapes of the Icelandic glaciers, their formation and interplay with the surrounding volcanoes and mountains. No technical skills are needed for this tour and you will be provided with all the necessary glacier equipment. This is a great, family-friendly, way to experience the Icelandic glaciers. It’s a Guided tour, included based on scheduled group departure with other group of people

    Later we visit following places :

    Skógafoss waterfalls
    Only a few kilometers away from the south shores of Iceland, lies the village of Skógar along the Southern Ring Road. The greatest attraction of Skógar is the beautiful 60-metre high Skogáfoss waterfall in the river Skógá. There is a legend about the settler Þrasi who is believed to have buried his chest of gold under the Skogáfoss waterfall. If sun conditions are favourable - one can see a vivid rainbow in front of the waterfalls. The path leading to the top of the waterfalls continues following the river upstream - where numerous more dramatic waterfalls of sheer beauty are to be found. A great hike - to say the least!

    Seljalandsfoss waterfalls
    A unique waterfall in the river Seljalandsá, about 30 km west from Skógar. It is 60 meters high with a foot path behind it at the bottom of the cliff, but with a thin cascade. It is the only known waterfall of its kind, where it is possible to walk behind it. The waterfall is very picturesque and therefore its photo can be found in many books and calendars.

    At the end of day, transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik. Check-in and relax.

    By evening enjoying our New-year Gala dinner at hotel and at night you can go for New-year downtown gathering & fireworks happen in city for new-year celebration.

  • Blue Lagoon & day at leisure (B)

    Today is your own leisure day to enjoy the town on your own and relax at Blue lagoon.

    Blue Lagoon – Retreat Spa
    The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal natural spa surrounded by lava fields on Reykjanes peninsula. You will enjoy that amazing contrast of blue water and black lava and have time to relax in the geothermal waters. The water is rich in silica and sulfur that helps make your skin glow. The temperature in the bathing and swimming area is very comfortable, averages 37–39°C. It's called one of the miracles of the world.
    Retreat Spa is based on two persons sharing a changing room. Guests have access to the Retreat Spa for 5 hours.

    Transfer to Keflavik Airport for your departure flight back to home.
