Itinerary Details

Upon your arrival at the Keflavik Airport (KEF), you will be greeted by our Rahhalah representative with Rahhalah logo.
Note: There will be only one airport transfer for the group. Timing will be advised in due course. Additional airport transfers can be arranged at extra cost.

Later after the group assemble at airport exit you will drive towards Stykkisholmur (approx. drive 214km./approx.3 hrs)
Stykkishólmur is a small beautiful town located in West Iceland, with population about 1200 people. If you are lucky & If sky is clear you will be able to see the northern light even from the hotel itself. Check-in to the hotel and relax for the day.

In the evening, you will meet again with your guide at the hotel to enjoy your dinner & to go through the itinerary of the next days.

After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and head towards Mt. Kirkjufell, Kirkjufell is the most iconic mountain in Iceland. It's located by the small town of Grundarfjörður and has been used as a backdrop in both Game of Thrones and the Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Afterward we drive towards to one of the famous hot spring 'Deildartunguhver Hot Spring' approx. drive 142km./02 hrs) After a small stop continue driving to the small village 'Reykholt' for the lunch (Under your expenses)
Our tour continue to one of the beautiful lava fall 'Hranfossar', in Borgarfjörður district is a series of beautiful waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming out of the Hallmundarhraun lava field.
Afterward you visit to Friðheimar - Entrance to the the greenhouse – Friðheimar

We settle down by evening at our hotel in Vík í Mýrdal.
Vík í Mýrdal is a remote seafront village in south Iceland. It sits in the shadow of Mýrdalsjökull glacier, which covers the Katla volcano. If the sky is clear you will be able to see the northern lights from your hotel as well.

Check-in & Overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, you depart for a MUST DO activity in Vatnajokull National Park, which is only possible in the winter season 'Visit to the Cystal Ice cave by 4X4 super jeep ride'. The tour will take approx. 2,5-3 hrs.

After the tour you will have a short stop taking picture of the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon and visit to the famous beach 'The Diamond beach' before heading to the restaurant for lunch. (under your expenses)

After lunch you can enjoy view and walk around the Skaftafell National park visitor center or you can choose to walk to the Svartifoss Waterfall which it's located approx. 2 km. by foot (30-45 by foot per way) from the visitor center
Back to same hotel in Vik again for overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and go for a fun day.

First you visit Dyrholeay Peninsular, Dyrhólaey, formerly known by seamen as Cape Portland, is a small promontory located on the south coast of Iceland, not far from the village Vík. It was formerly an island of volcanic origin, which is also known by the Icelandic word eyja meaning island.

Then we are heading a bit backward to Reynisfjara for having the horse riding tour discovering around the Iconic Black Sand Beach in Vik. You enjoy approx. 1 hour Horse Back riding around the Black Sand beach.

Later after lunch, you go for the Glacier walk and Ice Climbing tour (approx. 3-4hours) at Sólheimajökull glacier. On this glacier adventure, the popular glacier walk will be combined with an easy introduction to ice climbing. The majestic landscapes of Sólheimajökull glacier is including water cauldrons, ridges, and deep crevasses, which it's suitable spot to rig up our gear for a short introduction to ice climbing.

Today after breakfast you checkout from hotel and depart to Gullfoss, (the Golden Falls), which is one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Its golden hued cascade originates at Langjokull Glacier and flows down the Hvítá River all the way down to Gullfoss. It’s constantly rated as one of the best waterfalls in the world and a fabulous photo opportunity that you won’t want to miss.
There you also go on a most thrilling adventure Snowmobile tour (approx. 1hour snowmobiling)

After lunch visit to the spectacular Geysir geothermal area, is a well-known high-temperature geothermal area. And Geysir itself is one of the best-known geysers in the world.

You also visit to the Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its breathtaking landscape, unique geological formations and colorful history. Here you can walk on a pathway in a tectonic rift where Iceland’s early settlers established the first parliament, over a thousand years ago. The seismic rift valley, which marks the ever-expanding gap between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Be sure to check out Thingvallavatn – the largest natural lake in Iceland.

Later you move towards Reykjavik. After check-in at hotel in Reykjavik you will have your own free time as well as dinner by your own.

By late evening you go for Northern lights tour by boat (approx. 3hours) which is one of the popular activity in Reykjavik during winter time. Pickup/drop-off services provided from hotel.

Today you will get to explore the capital city, Reykjavik City is a cozy little capital bursting with vibrant culture and heritage. Visit the Harpa Concert Hall, the presidential residence at Bessastadir, and Hallgrimskirkja. Lake Tjörnin, Old Harbor, Sun Voyager (Sólfar), Perlan ,etc.

Later you move towards, Whale watching pick up (not private coach – transfer on your own) to harbor Reykjavik
On a Whale Watching tour from Reykjavik you will be able to experience some of Iceland’s rich and thriving bird life, as well as visit our large variety of sea-life, including minke whales, humpback whales, harbor porpoises and white-beaked dolphins among other whale species.
The expert guides and friendly crew will welcome you aboard, share with you interesting information about different kinds of whales and seabirds you may expect to see on your tour and will teach you how to spot whales out in the bay.
