Day 01

28th Dec, 2018 (Fri)
  • Arrive Udaipur & transfer to hotel; Evening visit Bagore-ki-Haveli, Welcome dinner (D)

    Your arrival would be at Udaipur city (UDR), at the airport our Rahhalah representative would meet you at arrival gate. After meet and greet transfer to your hotel for check-in.
    Udaipur is a magical mosaic and often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’. Shimmering Lake Pichola along with the ochre and purple ridges of Aravalli Hills, stretching away in every direction, provides Udaipur a romantic setting unmatched in Rajasthan.
    Evening you will proceed to Bagoreki-Haveli to witness a popular live performance of Indian music and dance. This couple of hour’s cultural event features puppet dance, folk dance, tribal dance, and more, some of which are used in Indian traditions to celebrate the arrival of seasons, birth of a child, a wedding, and festivals. Later proceed for welcome dinner either at the hotel restaurant or at city local restaurant.

Day 02

  • Udaipur – Early morning Cycling, Late morning visit City Palace (B, L)

    Early morning get ready for an interesting way to explore the beauty of Udaipur. The cycling tour in Udaipur is a perfect adventure and cultural activity to do. We starts from the mighty Fateh Sagar Lake and ride on a scenic road with lake on one-side and Aravalli mountains on other. We will cross the lake, pedal the beautiful countryside through some of the most eye-catching landscapes and spin across village fields, letting the cold wind energize our mind and soul. We will cross the Shilpgram, a village cooperative for tribal and rural artisans to showcase their work. As we ride through the village notice the indigenous paintings on the walls. We will reach Badi lake where a light refreshment stop will be provided. Later we will return to the city riding through the countryside.

    Late morning you will visit the City Palace - posing over the fascinating Lake Pichola, it is one of the most beautiful palatial structures and is the second largest palace in India. The elegant palace originally built by Mahrana Uday Singh II rises 30 meters above Lake Pichola and extends up to 244 meters.
    Rest of the afternoon free to explore the lake city on your own.

Day 03

  • Drive to Kumbhalgarh, Trek to Ranakpur Jain Temple, Drive to Narlai, Step-well Dinner (B, L, D)

    After an early breakfast, we will drive to Kumbhalgarh (1.5 – 2hrs drive). Upon arrival you will explore Kumbhalgarh Fort - an UNESCO World Heritage Site and claimed to have the 2nd largest fortified wall in the

    world. After the visit, you will take a short transfer by jeep to a village called Futa Deval to start the trek up to Ranakpur. The trek passes through the forest reserve where we see good wildlife. The terrain is downhill in the beginning and then a mixture of uphill, downhill and flat traverse. However, it is very scenic and refreshing as you cross beautiful landscape, tribal and shepherd settlements and ancient temples. Upon arrival at Ranakpur we will proceed to visit the Jain Temple – a marvelous piece of architecture, this 12th century temple is built of white marble and rests upon 1444 pillars, all with different art works.
    After the visit you will drive to Narlai (1 – 2hrs drive), and upon arrival will check in to hotel. Evening get ready for an experience of Rajasthani royal hospitality at the 16th century baori (step-well). You will be met by the resident royal at the courtyard with a welcome drink. Later you will be transported to the venue riding a bullock cart though the dusk, watching the village slowly going to sleep and the starlit sky unfolding above you. At the venue ignite your taste buds with a sumptuous Rajasthani cuisine, as folk musicians keep you entertained. After dinner, you will be transferred back to hotel by jeeps.

Day 04

  • Narlai – Early morning Leopard Safari, Drive to Pushkar (B, D)

    Early morning we will proceed for a Leopard Safari. The rugged Godwad countryside is a good natural habitat for the leopards. Experience the thrill of a customized ride on open jeeps for a sighting of this beautiful cat.
    Later return to hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast we will drive to Pushkar (4.5 – 5.5hrs drive) and upon arrival will check in to hotel. Rest of the time free to relax or to explore the Hindu pilgrimage town on your own. Later in evening, enjoy your Gala dinner at resort & New-year celebration.

Day 05

1st Jan, 2019 (Tue)
  • Drive to Jaipur – Visit Amer Fort, Rickshaw ride & Evening dinner at Chokhi Dhani (B, D)

    Morning we will drive to Jaipur (2 – 3hrs drive) and upon arrival will check in to hotel.
    Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City and is the colorful capital of Rajasthan with its rich cultural heritage and colorful past. Afternoon we proceed to visit Amer Fort. From the vehicle parking hop on to a jeep and drive up the hill fort of Amer and explore the Rajput magnificence. The hill fort of Amer was built by Rajput king Man Singh and was the seat of Kachwaha

    dynasty before the capital was shifted to Jaipur. Later, explore the bazars with Rickshaw ride in the city.
    Evening drive to Chokhi Dhani – a model Rajasthani village where guests will have a feel of local culture. Reach the village and proceed for a walk around, see live traditional dance performances & puppet shows, enjoy short ride on camel back or bullock cart. Later enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at a Rajasthani Royal themed restaurant. After dinner, return to hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06

2nd Jan, 2019 (Wed)
  • Jaipur – Morning hike through forest & village, Evening visit Dera Amer (B, L, D)

    After early breakfast we will drive to the rear of Amer Fort from where we will start our hiking trip. We will
    cross a small hillock as the hike takes us through rugged forest track inside Nahargarh Biological Park. We
    reach an old water body with great scenic location and from here a downhill hike will take us to a local
    village. Explore the village and interacts with the villagers to learn about their lifestyle. After the visit we will
    hike again through the forest, cross a 17th century hunting lodge, till we reach Ramsarisagar lake. From here
    we will board our jeep and will drive through Nahargarh Biological Park back to hotel.

    Rest of the time you relax at the hotel or optional visit to City Palace, Jantar Mantar and local market can be arranged. Late afternoon drive to Dera Amer. Upon arrival guests will be greeted by resident elephants. After a short briefing on elephants by the caretakers, guests will participate in bathing and painting of elephants (1 Hr. – 1hr 15mins activity). Later you will proceed for an elephant safari (45mins – 1hr) through the nearby forest. We will then enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the camp.

Day 07

  • Jaipur – drive to Agra, Afternoon sightseeing (B)

    After early breakfast, we will be driven to the Mughal city of Agra (4.5 – 5.5hrs drive), reach and check in to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Agra to visit Taj Mahal - the beautiful white marble monument built by
    Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (remains closed on every Friday). Spend time at the monument of love till sunset.

Day 08

4th Jan, 2019 (Fri)
  • Drive to Delhi, Half day sightseeing of Delhi, Depart Delhi (B)

    After breakfast we will drive to Delhi (3.5 – 4.5hrs drive). Upon arrival we will proceed for the half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor
    Shah Jahan. Then visit Rajghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi located on the bank of Yamuna River.
    Afterwards we drive pass through Colonial buildings such as the President's House, the official residence of
    the President of India and India Gate, a war memorial. Later we will be transferred to the Delhi international airport for flight to onward destination.
    Recommended flight time after 6pm.
