Itinerary Details

Note: All travelers must arrive at Delhi airport by 10 am. Should you need to arrive one day earlier, accommodation in Delhi can be arranged at an extra cost. Upon arrival at the Delhi airport (DEL), you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative and, once the whole group assembles, you will head to the old town for a sightseeing tour, including the Akshardham Temple, the Red Fort, the famous Jama Masjid and other monuments around old Delhi. Accommodation: Hotel Holiday Inn (4*) or similar.
After breakfast, you will checkout from the hotel and will drive to the Mughal city of Agra (approx. a 4-hour drive). Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel, relax, or explore the neighborhood at your own pace. In the evening, you will head towards nearby Kachpura village to have a glimpse of the traditional village life and enjoy a Mughal heritage walk. There, the local women will share with you the art of Mehandi (an Indian form of body art based on which decorative designs are created on a person's body using a paste produced from the powdered dry leaves of the henna plant). Once you explore the village, you will be invited to sit at a vantage point where you will be served masala chai and snacks, while gazing at the Taj Mahal at sunset. You will depart for the Taj Mahal very early in the morning so that you marvel at its beauty under the morning hues while hopefully encountering fewer tourist hordes. You will then return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out before embarking on an exploration of the Agra Fort. Soon afterwards, you will depart for Jaipur (approx. a 5-hour drive). On the way, you will visit one of India’s largest and most famous stepwells: Chand Baori, an architectural and engineering marvel. Accommodation: Hotel Umaid Mahal (4*) or similar.
Early in the morning (at 6:30 am) you will embark on a cycling tour around the city, starting from the Jal Mahal (Water Palace), stopping at the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), visiting the Gaitor Maharaja's cenotaphs, exploring the royal district of the City Palace, and learning more details about the daily life of the Maharajas. After such an exciting adventure, you will enjoy a Rajasthani breakfast in the Karnot Mahal, a 270-years-old heritage haveli. In the afternoon, you will embark on a leopard safari in the Jhalana sanctuary. Evening at leisure. Accommodation: Hotel Umaid Mahal (4*) or similar.
Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is the picturesque capital of Rajasthan with a rich cultural heritage and an intriguing past. After breakfast, you will visit the beautiful Amer fort. Later in the afternoon you will spend some time in an elephant farm interacting with these gorgeous mammals (the largest living land animals), learning how to communicate and feed them. Accommodation: Hotel Umaid Mahal (4*) or similar.
After breakfast and depending on your flight details, you will be transferred to the Jaipur International Airport for your departure back home.
