  • Helicopter RTB Cost= USD 3,600 / RTB Flight. Helicopter RTB Cost / Person= USD 1,200 / Person based on 3 PAX sharing the flight. RTB is Return to Base in the case that flight takes off and then weather conditions change and it becomes unsafe to land so heli has to return to Timika.
  • Any kind of insurances (Medical & Evacuation, Helicopter Pick Up, etc).
    • Helicopter pickup cost:
    • CAMOV / MI Helicopter from Timika= USD 19,000 / Flight (Depends on availability).
    • ** Only valid when Helicopter Currently Available in Timika. Helicopter cost excluding RTB Cost.
    • BELL Helicopter from Nabire= USD 15,000 / Flight (Depends on availability), 300 KG Capacity.
    • ** Including Hotel & Arrangement until arrived back at Jakarta / Bali. Helicopter Cost excluding RTB Cost.
    • Helicopter is not always available (Cost Described is only to give an idea if somehow the Heli is available), Cost is subject to change.
    • The availability of Helicopter for pickup / evacuation / replaced helicopter that currently use / backup purposes is not our responsibility. Considered as FORCE MAJOR CONDITION.
    • Helicopter loading capacity is subject to change following new policies.
    • Climbers extended stay cost due to having to be on standby in Timika is 110 $ US per person per night, in the case that the stay in Timika gets extended due to any political or safety or weather reasons.

  • Any Over Weight Charges for all flights.
  • Costs due to early descent.
  • Any costs due to the flight delay / cancellation.
  • Meals outside Papua.
  • Hotel cost if you come and return before and after the climbing schedule.
  • Private climbing equipment & gear.
  • Porter in the Expedition.
  • Tips, Telephone, Laundry and any personal expense.

Please note:

• Helicopter Return to Base ( RTB) cost:
• We only fly when weather is clear and Helicopter Pilot + Crew team decide it is safe & clear for fly. If somehow weather changes rapidly and we cannot land in BC, the RTB Cost applies.
• Helicopter RTB is a situation when HELICOPTER fail to arrive at destination (for delivery or for pickup) due to any reason and has to return to base (Timika), causing the flight to be done again.
• RTB cost= USD 3,600 / RTB FLIGHT
• RTB cost / person= The RTB cost is divided by number of clients on the flight.
• Climbers Extended Cost in Timika:
• Climbers Extend Cost in Timika apply when climbers should extend to stay in Timika (before depart with HELICOPTER to Carstensz Pyramid), mostly happen due weather condition not allow HELICOPTER to flight.
• Climbers Extend Cost in Timika= USD 110 / Person / Night (start apply after 03 nights you stay at Timika).
• *** Only Paid if Climber should extend in Timika more than 03 Nights.
• Insurance:
• Carstensz Pyramid Expedition is considered very high risk expedition with high changing possibilities, Therefore Travel Insurance and Evacuation Insurance is compulsory.
• Insurance should cover Trip Cancelation, Medical, Evacuation from Very Remote Area (up to Helicopter pickup), Repatriation, Flight Delays, Lost Luggage, etc
