Itinerary Details
Upon your arrival at the Nairobi International airport (NBO), you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative who will accompany you to your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day is at leisure.
Accommodation in Nairobi: Tamarind tree hotel or similar.
After breakfast, you will drive northwest to the edge of the Great Rift Valley to enjoy some spectacular scenery before descending into the valley, heading towards the famous Masai-Mara Game Reserve. Masai Mara is one of the most remarkable ecosystems in the world and for a good reason: this vast expanse of grassland is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife.
(The drive takes approximately 8 hours, but there will be regular stops along the way).
Upon arrival, you will check-in in the Mara Engai Lodge: an exquisite luxury lodge, nestled inside the pristine Kenyan Ravine forest, 300 m high on the Oloololo Siria Escarpment. It features large, luxury, tented suites and private viewing decks, with breathtaking views over the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve and the migration route of Serengeti.
In the evening, you will go for a game viewing drive, and you are likely to spot various animals (lions, cheetahs, and big elephant herds) in their natural element.
Note that this is also the land of the Masai people: nomadic herders who choose to maintain their traditional lifestyle and are permitted to graze their cattle in the area.
Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3 and Day 4:( 24th and 25th Oct 2021) Masai Mara Reserve – Full day / Split Game drive (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will leave for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch at the Mara River migration bride area. These morning and afternoon game drives will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and a plethora of other animals inhabiting this vast Kenyan reserve. Note that nothing can be guaranteed on a safari, but with the help of our brilliant guides, you should have the chance to see and learn a lot about the wildlife of the area.
Return to the Camp for dinner.

Optional activities: (not included in the price – subject to availability)
Quad Bike adventure: A thrilling ride through the bush and the organic garden. Take in the incredible views and see the wildlife from a completely different perspective. Ride past giraffe, elephants and zebra and go deeper into the bush for an unforgettable experience.
Hot air balloon ride: The Balloon Safari adventure begins in the pre-dawn hours (6 am), offering breathtaking views on the park and a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savanna below (from an almost 500 m altitude). You finish with a breakfast in the bushes, cooked on the balloon’s burners.
Wake up early for an optional morning game ride, in search of the shy animals that may have escaped you so far. This will be your last chance to go into the reserve before saying goodbye to the Masai Mara and returning to Nairobi for your flight back home (approx. an 8-hour drive).
Note: Recommended departure flight to be 5 pm onwards.
