Kenya is one of the world’s most magnificent safari and wilderness destinations, known for its remarkable diversity of landscapes, including an endless Savannah, tropical white sandy beaches, coral reefs, dense equatorial forests, and snow-capped mountains.

During this trip, you will focus entirely on tracking African wildlife, while based in Masai-Mara: one of the most exotic and famous ecosystems in the world. Following the footsteps of numerous adventurers and explorers who came before you, you will drive through the wilderness in search of the Big Five (that is, lions, leopards, black rhinoceros, African bush elephants, and African buffalos) plus many other wild animals, gaining, on the way, an unparalleled connection with nature.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 (6th February 2026): Arrival at Nairobi

Upon your arrival at the Nairobi International airport (NBO), you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative who will accompany you to your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day is at leisure.

Accommodation: Tamarind tree hotel 4*, Nairobi.

Day 2 (7th February 2026): Transfer to Masai Mara – Your first evening game drive (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will drive northwest to the edge of the Great Rift Valley to enjoy some spectacular scenery before descending into the valley, heading towards the famous Masai-Mara Game Reserve.

Masai Mara is one of the most remarkable ecosystems in the world and for a good reason: this vast expanse of grassland is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife.
(The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, but there will be regular stops along the way).

Upon arrival, you will check-in the lodge, right in the heart of Masai Mara.
Later you will visit the local tribe sundowner, and you will enjoy your first evening game drive before relaxing with a delicious dinner.

Note that this is also the land of the Masai people: nomadic herders who choose to maintain their traditional lifestyle and are permitted to graze their cattle in the area. Spending a few days in the area will allow you to learn more about their culture and connect with their free spirit.

Day 3 (8th February 2026): Masai Mara Reserve – Full day / Split Game drive (B, L, D)

Each day, after breakfast, you will leave for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch at the Mara River migration bride area. These morning and afternoon game drives will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and a plethora of other animals inhabiting this vast Kenyan reserve.

Note that nothing can be guaranteed on a safari, but with the help of our brilliant guides, you should have the chance to see and learn a lot about the wildlife of the area. Complement your experience with traditional Maasai entertainment.

Day 4 (9th February 2026): Optional Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Nairobi – Departure (B)

Wake up early for an optional morning game ride, in search of the shy animals that may have escaped you so far. This will be your last chance to go into the reserve before saying goodbye to the Masai Mara and returning to Nairobi for your flight back home (approx. a 6-7-hour drive).

Note: Recommended departure flight to be 8 pm onwards.

The cost is based on a group of min 4 people. Rahhalah reserves the right to change the price if the trip runs with fewer participants.

Important: The itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, road challenges or operating conditions. At any moment, the guide has the RIGHT to change the program for the safety and convenience of the travelers.
Also, the trip's price does not cover expenses that may occur due to conditions beyond Rahhalah's control (force
majeure). Such cases include but are not limited to extreme weather conditions, flight cancellations or delays, and natural phenomena (earthquakes, volcano eruptions, hurricanes, etc.). We, the Rahhalah team, both in our HQ and on the ground, will do our best to assist you with alternative arrangements (like new accommodation and/or transportation arrangements, revised itinerary and activities etc.), but ALL NEW COSTS incurred because of force majeure are to be covered by the traveler.

We strongly recommend that, before your departure, you purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation costs, loss of baggage or personal items, medical emergencies, and other unexpected circumstances that cannot be controlled by Rahhalah or any traveler.
