Itinerary Details
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be met and assisted by a local Rahhalah representative. Depending on flight arrival time, you will either transfer directly to your riad or begin the guided city exploration.
If arriving in the morning or early afternoon, the day continues with a guided walking tour through the historic medina. You will visit the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque before continuing to the Mellah, Marrakech’s former Jewish Quarter. The tour includes entrance to Bahia Palace, where you will explore its courtyards, gardens, and detailed craftsmanship. The walk continues through the souks and artisan markets, offering insight into traditional trades and daily life in the old city.
The experience concludes with a guided Moroccan street food tasting, introducing local specialties and flavors. If arrival is late, some visits such as Bahia Palace may be shifted to the following morning to ensure a relaxed pace.
Optional evening activities can be arranged, including a traditional hammam and massage, rooftop dinner, or cultural show.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your riad and driven to visit the Majorelle Garden. You will have time to explore the botanical garden, its iconic blue architecture, and tranquil pathways.
After the visit, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You may enjoy lunch independently, explore Marrakech at your own pace, or add optional experiences such as a Moroccan cooking class, visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, or a hammam and spa session.
In the afternoon, you return to your riad. The evening is free for personal exploration or dining in the medina.
After breakfast, depending on your international flight schedule, you will be transferred to Marrakech Menara Airport for your onward journey, or alternatively, you may choose to extend your trip to visit the Agafay Desert.
Optional Extension - Agafay Desert
Late morning or early afternoon, you will be transferred to the Agafay Desert (approx drive 1 hour). The drive takes you through changing landscapes as the city gives way to rocky desert terrain.
Upon arrival, you will have time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Optional activities such as a camel ride, quad biking, or buggy experience can be arranged upon request.
In the late afternoon, enjoy sunset views over the Agafay Desert, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner served at the camp. The evening is spent under the stars in a peaceful desert setting.
Overnight stay at Mia Agafay Resort in a standard desert camp, with comfort or luxury upgrades available upon request.
After breakfast at the camp, depending on your international flight schedule, you will depart the Agafay Desert by private transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport. (approx drive 1 hour)
Optional early-morning activities, such as a sunrise camel ride or private desert breakfast setup can be arranged upon request.
