The first view of Nepal from your plane window may become a cherished memory, as the clear, wide and snow-covered range of the Himalayas shines in front of your eyes. The beauty is so ecstatic and rare that you don’t want to miss a second. Welcome to Nepal: a small piece of Heaven on Earth.

Upon your arrival at the airport, a Rahhalah representative will welcome you and escort you to your hotel where, while enjoying the luxurious facilities, you will meet your trekking guide and get ready for the thrilling adventure that lies ahead.

Accommodation in Kathmandu: Dwarika's Hotel or similar.
Dwarika’s hotel is an oasis in the middle of the bustling city. Its peaceful courtyards display intricately carved wooden treasures: artifacts that preserve Kathmandu Valley’s heritage and the architectural grandeur of the Newari civilization. The rooms are spacious and meticulously decorated, offering a sumptuous lifestyle deep-rooted in the Nepalese culture.

Early in the morning, you will head to the airport to catch the flight to Lukla, which takes around 30 minutes. Landing at Lukla airport, that was built by Sir Edmund Hillary, is an experience in itself. Lukla, a Sherpa village, is usually filled with tourists and trekkers from around the world on their way to Everest Base Camp or, even, Mt. Everest itself.

From Lukla, you will begin your hiking adventure heading towards Dudh Koshi Valley on a well-marked trail to Phakding: the first stopover of trekkers in the region. At the center of the village, you will find the Rimijung Monastery established by Sherpa Lama "Khempo Dorje" in the 16th century.
Trekking time: approx. 3-4 hrs.

Overnight at Phakding: Yeti Mountain Home or similar.

After a hearty breakfast, you will leave Phakding behind, crossing and re-crossing the river on high suspension bridges. Beyond Monjo, there is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up to protect and preserve the fragile mountain environment.
From there, you will follow a steep path to Namche. If the weather is clear, you will get the first glimpse of Mt Everest. Namche is the main trading village in the Khumbu area and has a busy Saturday market - a meeting place for the Hindu traders from the lowlands and the Tibetan yak caravans that have crossed the glaciated Nangpa La.
Enjoy the rest of the day in Namche, exploring the village or enjoying the perfect fusion of traditional warmth and modern comfort offered by your accommodation, surrounded by breathtaking panoramas.
Trekking time: approx. 5-6 hrs.

Overnight at Namche: Yeti Mountain Home or similar.

In the morning, you will hike to the nearby Everest View Point to marvel at the famous peak, take photos, and check the nearby exhibition on Everest.
Later, enjoy the pinnacle of your adventure with a scenic helicopter flight to Kala Patthar, enjoying on the wa unparalleled views of Mount Everest. After soaking in the awe-inspiring scenery, you will return swiftly and comfortably to Lukla via helicopter. From there, you will take the direct flight to Kathmandu.
Trekking time: approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Optional: helicopter ride back to Kathmandu at an additional cost of USD 800 per person, on a shared basis.

After breakfast, and depending on your departure details, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
