Detailed Itinerary

Day 01

25th October ‘19
  • Arrival at Kathmandu (D)

    Upon your arrival at the airport of Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative and transferred to your hotel. Explore the capital city of Nepal at your own pace until the welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 02

26th October ‘19
  • Drive to Sankhu, Hike to Nagarkot (4-5 hrs)(B,L,D)

    After breakfast, you will be driven to Sankhu, from where you will hike towards Nagarkot. Along the way, you will encounter peaceful rural settlements, refreshing woods and some of the most stunning views of the Himalayans including Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and Gaurishankar Himal. After 4 -5 hours of walk through the nature trail, you will reach Nagarkot to relish a breathtaking sunset view.

Day 03

27th October ‘19
  • Drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur and Pashupatinath (B, L, D)

    Today, you will wake up quite early to witness one of the major highlights of the whole trip: as the golden sunbeams start spreading on the mountain range, a mesmerizing spectacle unfolds in front of you, with a panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Makalu (8463m), Manaslu (8163m) and many other peaks.
    After enjoying this great experience, you will head towards Kathmandu via Bhaktapurand Pashupatinath, “a city of devotees”, 12 km south-east of the Capital. After a stop there, and while still on the way to Kathmandu, you will visit Pashupatinath. When you arrive in Kathmandu, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel, hunting for souvenirs, or check some of the other interesting sites of the city.

Day 04

28th October 19
  • Drive to Chitwan – Rafting at Trishuli River (B,L, D)

    After breakfast, you will head towards Chitwan, 136 km south-east of Kathmandu.

    On the way, at Baireni, you will cover the rest of the distance via rafting, following the fast flowing Trishuli River: considered one of the best rafting experiences in Nepal. This will be a 3-hours raft, very close to Dashdhunga.

    You will reach the Chitwan National Park in the afternoon and you will check-in in the resort.

Day 05

29th October ‘19
  • Wildlife safari at the Chitwan National Park (B, L, D)

    After breakfast, you will start exploring the National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for wildlife conservation and preservation. The park is a paradise for wildlife lovers, thanks to its dense vegetation and various endangered species one can encounter there, including the one-horned rhino and the Royal Bengal tiger. Your exploration will include an Elephant-Back Safari, Canoe Riding, a visit to an elephant breeding center, and a Jeep safari (on sharing basis).

    In the evening, you will enjoy a unique show of the Tharu tribe dance around the bonfire.

Day 06

30th October ‘19
  • Drive back to Kathmandu (B, L, D)

    After breakfast, you head to Kathmandu, for your last exploration of the city before the farewell dinner.

Day 07

31st October ‘19
  • Departure (B)

    After breakfast and depending on your departure times, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
