Upon your arrival at Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC), you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative and will be transferred to your hotel.

Discover the main attractions in the city of Funchal, passing by the Cathedral, City Hall Square, Fruit and Flower Market “ Mercado dos Lavradores” with its exotic fruits and fresh flowers (Closed Sundays).

A Madeira wine tasting is also can be planned (optional), and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we continue our tour in the direction of Monte, by cable car. The blue of the sky and the sea, the orange of the rooftops, the green of Nature: Funchal's cable cars allow you to contemplate the city from a unique point of view. Once in Monte, we have the opportunity to visit the Monte Palace Tropical Garden which occupies an area of 70.000 square meters and houses a huge exotic plant collection, coming from all over the
world, together with swans and ducks, that populates the central lake, peacocks and chickens, that walk free in the main areas of the property. The vehicle will take you back to the hotel so you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Starting at regional road ER 105, at Rabaçal, this trail follows the Levada do Alecrim, at an altitude of 1300 meters, until it reaches its spring at Ribeira do Lajeado. It is 3.5 km (one way) full of cinematographic sceneries close to Nature. With an estimated duration of 2:30 hours, and considered an easy trail, PR 6.2 Levada do Alecrim offers wide views over the Rabaçal valley and Ribeira da Janela.

The characteristic density of the Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, shows its imposing shades of green. In addition, you will find here some heather tunnels which offer unique surroundings to the walking experience. The biggest surprise, however, is reserved for when you arrive in the spring of Levada do Alecrim, a 'levada' built to supply the Hydroelectric Power Plant of Calheta, where you can refresh yourself at the 'Dona Beja' lake, which feeds the Lagoa do Vento waterfall.

The return from Levada do Alecrim is completed via the same trail. Alternatively, you can head towards the shelter Casa de Abrigo do Rabaçal, taking Vereda da Lagoa do Vento (PR 6.3). at the end of the trail, take time to enjoy a meal box previously prepared for you.

Breakfast at the Hotel and departure to an amazing trail that crosses the island.

PR1 Vereda do Areeiro is a trail connecting three iconic spots in Madeira, the highest peaks of the island.
It begins at Pico do Areeiro (1818 m), crosses Pico das Torres (1851 m) and ends at Pico Ruivo (1862 m).
Vereda do Areeiro is a 7 km trail of moderate difficulty and takes 3:30 hours, covering part of the Central Mountain Massif (an area integrated in the Natura 2000 Network).

Along the trail, which begins at the Pico do Areeiro viewpoint, you will pass through tunnels dug out of the volcanic tufts - which used to shelter cattle and shepherds - and steep slopes.

To reach Pico Ruivo, you will have to go around Pico das Torres via a steep staircase carved in the rock.
However, the greatest challenge of Vereda do Areeiro is saved for last: the climb up to the shelter Casa de Abrigo do Pico Ruivo.
Finally, you will reach a rock formation, popularly known as 'Homem em pé' (Standing Man), where you will find the trail leading to Achada do Teixeira, which allows you to continue your hike.

On this trail, where there is predominantly high-altitude health, you may come across some bird species and subspecies found only in Macaronesia or the archipelago.

Note: **Incase the full route is not opened because of the fires that took place last year. we will be able to do Pico do Areeiro and Pedra Rija Belvedere (km 1,2).

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you explore city through a half-day tour of Porto, the 2nd city in Portugal. Built on the right bank of Douro, Porto offers the contrasts of a city that is both ancient and modern. Visit its highlights and the typical quarters, with its Baroque churches, the elegant metal bridges, and the wine cellars. Walk through the picturesque Ribeira district, the historic heart of Porto (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The visit ends on the other bank of River Douro, in Gaia, with a visit to a typical cellar with tasting of the famous Port wine. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast, check-out and depending on your flight time you will be transferred to Oporto International Airport (OPO) for your flight back to home.
