Day 01

4th October 2019
  • Arrival in Seoul (D)
    Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by a Rahhalah representative, and you will be transferred to your hotel. Note: One group airport transfer is included. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace, until 6 pm, when you will go for a Welcome Dinneron authentic Korean cuisine. Accommodation in Seoul:Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong or similar.

Day 02

5th October 2019
  • Seoul – Cooking Class and Walking City Tour (B)
    After breakfast, you will engage in a cooking class that will teach you the basics of Korean cuisine. Next, you will explore the famous Insa-dong. Insa-dong, located in the heart of the city, is an important place where old but precious and traditional items are on display. There is one main road in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys, there are galleries and traditional restaurants, teahouses, and cafes. 

The galleries are the heart of Insa-dong. There are about 100 of them in the area and offer you the opportunity to admire various examples of traditional Korean art from paintings to sculptures. The most famous ones are the Hakgojae Gallery (which functions as the center of folk art), the Gana Art Gallery (which promotes many promising artists), and the Gana Art Center. Your next stop is Buchon Hanok village which will allow youto experience, learn, and immerse yourself in the traditional Korean culture. Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, BukchonHanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to "northern village," came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks:Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today you will also visit Gyeongbokgung Palace. Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is the furthest in the north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern) and Gyeonghuigung (Western) Palaces. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful one and remains the largest of all five royal residences. Accommodation in Seoul:Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong or similar.

Day 03

6th October 2019
  • Transfer from Seoul toJeju / Hiking / Kayaking/ Green Tea Plantation visit (B)
    After breakfast, you will take the domestic flight from Seoul to Jeju. There, you will embark on the Aewol Handam costal Trail: a 45-min easy walk from where you will be able to admire the Jeju Sea. You will also enjoy a one-hour sea kayak at Gwakji - known for its white sands and clear blue water.This beach has a spring that will make you shudder from its cold temperature even at the peak of the summer. Picking a few of the abundant clams and other shellfish is another bonus that can be enjoyed. Your day will end at the Osulloc Green Tea plantation and museum, where you will learn about the Korean tea tradition and its history. The Osulloc Tea Museum is the first museum of its kind in Korea aiming to sharethe Korean tea history and its tradition. Putting together the East and the West, past and present, the museum has grown into a significant attraction, featuring a variety of rooms and zones, including an indoor garden, the Tea Cup Gallery, and the Tea Stone. Day 04

7th October 2019
  • Horse riding, Hiking and Caving (B)
    After breakfast, you will enjoy a leisurely horse-riding tour (30 mins), and then you will follow the Yongnuni Oreum Trek (around 30min). Yongnuni Oreum (also called Yonganak, literally meaning ‘Dragon Eye Mountain’) is a parasitic volcano almost 250 meters high. Several craters and lava hills mingle together, and the front side of the mountain offers picturesque landscapeswith an abundance of lush grass. ​​​​​​​Later, you will visit SeongsanIlchulbong - a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site – where you will take a short hike (1 hour) to the SeongsanIlchulbong Peak (180m above sea level). This volcano erupted underwater in the ocean about 5,000 years ago,which makes it a rare case among the many craters in Jejudo Island. SeongsanIlchulbong has long been considered one of the best scenic destinations in Korea. You will end the day by exploring the Manjang Cave. Manjang Gul is part of the longest lava tube system in the world, measuring 13,422 m in length. The main cave,Manjang(8,928m), the Kimnyeong Snake Cave (705m), and three lesser-known caves Jwolgul, Batgul and Gaewusaegul (3,738m) are all part of this single cave system. Having all the mysteries of a naturally formed lava tube, it ranges from 2 to 30m in height and 2 to 23m in width. Accommodation in Jeju:Ramada Encore Hotel Jeju Yeon-dong or similar.

Day 05

8th October 2019
  • Hiking on Mt. Hallasan (B)
    Today you will hike to the peak of Mt Hallasan. Starting at Chungpanak, you will go through the Azalea field (for 7.3 km) before ascending to the summit (2.3 km), covering a total one-way distance of 9.4 km. (one-way hiking duration: around 4:30 hours). On the way, you will pass by the Sarora Observation Deck, from where you can enjoy the scenic view and by Baekrokdam, which is the best place to enjoy the forest and the volcanic nature of the island. Duration of hike: 6 hours. Level: moderate difficulty. Accommodation inJeju: Ramada Encore Hotel Jeju Yeon-dong or similar.

Day 06

9th October 2019
  • Flight from Jeju to Seoul (B, D)
    After breakfast, you will check out at 10:00am and proceed to the airport for your return flight to Seoul. You will enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace, until the farewell dinner at 6 pm. Accommodation in Seoul:Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong or similar.

Day 07

10th October 2019
  • Departure from Seoul ( B)
    Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home(hotel check out is at 12 pm). Note: One group airport transfer is included.
