Arrival at Socotra Expected arrival time: ~09:30 AM (flight not included).
A Rahhalah representative will warmly welcome you at Socotra Airport and transfer you to your first camping spot at Detwah Lagoon.
The drive takes around 1.5 hours, leading you through scenic landscapes before reaching this natural wonder.
Detwah Lagoon is a breathtaking white-sand bay with turquoise waters, fascinating rock formations, and rich marine life, all framed by dramatic mountain scenery.
Lunch will be served at the camp.
Upon arrival, take time to unwind by the lagoon, enjoy a refreshing swim, or hike up to the surrounding cliffs for a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the area.
Later, a short 20-minute walk will bring you to Eliah, the island’s famous “caveman,” known for his captivating stories about life in Socotra.
Dinner will be served at the camp. Overnight camping in tents at Detwah Lagoon.

A short 15-minute drive takes you to Qalansiyeh, a charming fishermen’s village, where you’ll embark on a 30-minute boat ride to the pristine Shuab Beach. Along the way, keep your eyes open—you might be lucky enough to spot playful spinner dolphins or even majestic whale sharks.
Spend the morning soaking up the tranquility of Shuab’s untouched shores: swim in crystal-clear waters, stroll along the beach, or simply relax to the rhythm of your favorite tunes.
Return to camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, set off on a scenic 2-hour drive to the legendary Firmihin Forest, the largest Dragon’s Blood tree forest on Socotra. Perched high on the Dixam Plateau, the forest overlooks sweeping canyons and rugged mountains, offering a truly surreal landscape.
Take a short 20–30 minute walk to explore the area and watch the sun dip behind the horizon—a magical sunset among ancient trees found nowhere else on Earth.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Firmihin Forest before enjoying breakfast at camp.
Afterwards, you may take an optional short walk through the forest to see how the legendary red sap is carefully extracted from the Dragon’s Blood trees.
Next, drive about 1.5 hours to Wadi Kalissan for a scenic 1-hour roundtrip hike through a dramatic canyon framed by rare bottle trees. The trail winds among striking white rock formations, leading to natural freshwater pools—an inviting spot to swim and cool off after the walk.
Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear pool tucked between gleaming limestone cliffs, followed by a picnic lunch in this serene oasis. A light snack will be waiting for you upon returning to the cars.
In the afternoon, continue with a 1-hour drive to Arher Beach, where towering white sand dunes cascade dramatically into the turquoise sea.
Set up camp right by the beach, with time for a swim before dinner is served. Overnight camping in tents at Arher Beach.
Early rise at 5 AM to climb the sand dunes (approx. 45-minute walk to the top) for a spectacular sunrise—an optional but unforgettable experience.
After breakfast, travel to the Homhail Infinity Pool. This crystal-clear natural rock pool perches on the edge of a cliff, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Depending on your energy and weather, you can reach the pool by car or embark on an intermediate 1.5–2 hour trek through landscapes dotted with frankincense and bottle trees.
Relax and swim in the infinity pool before returning to Arher Beach campsite for lunch.
Optional: snorkeling at Dihamri Marine Reserve, a protected marine and eco-tourism site on Socotra’s northeastern coast, about 23 km from the campsite. The reserve includes pristine shoreline, Ras Dihamri, and marine waters reaching depths of nearly 300 meters.
Next, head to Ras Aresal (approx. 20-minute drive), the dramatic meeting point of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, perfect for enjoying spectacular views and a stunning sunset.
Continue to the hotel (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes) and check in.
Dinner by the beach. Overnight at Lasirena Hotel or similar.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Socotra Airport for your departure flight.
The drive from the hotel takes approximately 40 minutes. Departing flight: ~11:00 AM.( the flight is not included )
